How far in advance should I place my order?

Accepted Answer

Custom cakes and decorated desserts require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice. For large corporate, birthday parties, celebrations, or graduation orders, or anything particularly elaborate, 4–6 weeks is strongly preferred. Rush orders are accepted on a case-by-case basis and are subject to rush pricing — because rearranging an entire production schedule for someone who didn't plan ahead is a service, and services have a cost. The earlier you reach out, the better we can serve you.

Question 2

Why is there a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Because luxury desserts require commitment. When you place a custom order, we reserve time in our production schedule, source premium ingredients specifically for your order, and begin the design process. A deposit secures all of that. It is non-refundable because the work begins the moment your order is confirmed — not the moment we hand it to you. We appreciate your understanding, and we promise it's worth it.

Question 3

Can I change my order after placing it?

Accepted Answer

Minor adjustments — flavor tweaks, small quantity changes — may be accommodated up to 7 days before your event date, depending on where we are in production. Changes requested within 7 days of the event are subject to a modification fee and are not guaranteed. Major design changes after confirmation are not accepted. Please review your order details carefully before confirming. We are thorough so you can be confident.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Accepted Answer

We understand that life happens, and we will always work with you to the best of our abilities. That said, custom orders are non-refundable once confirmed, because your order is made specifically for you using time, ingredients, and artistry that cannot be recouped. If you need to reschedule, reach out as early as possible and we will do our best to find a solution. The sooner you communicate, the more options we have.

Question 5

Do you offer tastings?

Tasting consultations are available for wedding cake orders and large-scale custom orders by appointment. We do not offer walk-in tastings or free samples — our time and ingredients are as premium as our products. Tasting fees apply and are credited toward your final order when you book. If you are ordering cookies or smaller items, our shop is the best way to experience the quality firsthand. Consider it a delicious investment in confidence.

Can you recreate a cake exactly from Pinterest?

Accepted Answer

Inspiration photos are absolutely welcome — they help us understand your aesthetic, your color palette, your vibe. What they are not is a blueprint. Every piece we create is handcrafted by our baker with full creative interpretation. The result will be inspired by your reference and elevated by our artistry. We do not do Pinterest fails, and we do not do pixel-for-pixel copies of someone else's work. What we do is better.

Question 7

Do you make copyrighted character cakes?

Accepted Answer

We do not reproduce licensed or copyrighted characters — Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, and the rest of the intellectual property universe are not ours to replicate commercially. What we can do is create beautifully themed desserts that capture the spirit, color story, and energy of your chosen theme without infringing on anyone's copyright. A 'galaxy explorer' theme hits differently than a licensed logo anyway. Trust us on this one.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Accepted Answer

We offer select gluten-friendly, dairy-free, and reduced-sugar options on certain items. Please ask about availability when placing your inquiry — not all accommodations are available for all products, and some require advance notice. We take dietary needs seriously and will always be honest about what we can and cannot safely provide. We can accommodate many needs, but we don't perform miracles — please ask before assuming, and please disclose allergies upfront so we can serve you safely.

Do you deliver?

At this time, all orders are available for local pickup from our Massillon, Ohio location by appointment. We are working on expanding our delivery options and will announce when that changes. In the meantime, we promise the pickup experience is worth the trip — and your desserts will be packaged beautifully for the journey.

Question 10

How should I store my desserts?

Accepted Answer

Most items should be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, and consumed within the timeframe noted on your order. Refrigerate only if specifically instructed — cold air can dry out buttercream and alter texture. Do not freeze unless we have confirmed it is safe for your specific item. And please, for the love of everything bougie, do not leave your desserts in a hot car. We put too much into these for them to melt in a parking lot.
